1. Mr. Gupta said the company is working to limit the 75,000 deaths and $30 billion in healthcare costs that healthcare-acquired infections cause.

2. BIOVIGIL has patented technology with various features including data reporting software and a badge that makes healthcare workers accountable for hand hygiene compliance. Mr. Gupta said, “We are an outcomes- and data-driven company that is creating a new and bold standard of care around patient safety and engagement.”

3. Prior to taking on the CEO role, Mr. Gupta spent 17 years at Johnson & Johnson.
