The question-and-answer sessions will examine ASCs reporting healthcare personnel influenza vaccination summary data through the National Healthcare Safety Network.

ASC-8 is part of the ASC Quality Reporting Program that CMS finalized in the 2012 OPPS/ASC Final Rule. The first reporting period was last year and determined payment for 2016. Facilities must report HCP influenza vaccination summary data, including the forms: HCP Safety Monthly Reporting Plan form and HCP Influenza Vaccination Summary form.

The CDC is holding two Q&A webinars on the topic; one today and one on March 21 from 2pm to 3pm EST.
