Sunrise Endoscopy Center and Puyallup (Wash.) Endoscopy Center successfully piloted a new ASC Quality measure through the ASC Quality Collaboration.
“We greatly appreciate AmSurg centers helping with pilots, which enabled the proposed measures to progress through the approval process,” said Kathy Wilson, vice president of clinical quality. The ASC Quality Collaboration is dedicated to:
1. Developing standardized quality measures appropriate for ASCs.
2. Public reporting online with a free quality report.
3. Assemble tools for ASC infection prevention to supplement current practices.
4. Advocate for a system to provide meaningful information stakeholders with a minimal administrative burden for ASCs.
