The South has the nation’s most productive ASCs

Around the nation, ASCs individually perform a median of 4,504 cases annually, according to VMG Health’s “Multi-Specialty ASC Benchmarking Study” for 2022. There are notable differences between regions, however.

The widest regional gap is between ASCs in the Northeast and ASCs in the South.
