Wyoming is the best state for physicians to retire, according to a recent data breakdown from salary transparency platform Marit Health.
Marit’s team developed an index to measure how long it takes physicians in each state to achieve financial independence. The index combines five factors — salary, taxes, cost of living, quality of life and malpractice environment — to estimate when savings reach 25 times annual expenses.
