The Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza in Houston, Texas, has been awarded an Energy Star certification by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, according to a Jan. 6 report from Rejournals.
The 510,000-square-foot office building is in the top 25 percent of energy efficient buildings in the nation.
Medical buildings were eligible to be considered for Energy Star certifications again in 2022 for the first time in eight years.
