Tenet shares fall 0.7%, SCA appoints new director & more — 4 key notes on ASC companies

Here are four updates on ASC companies.

1. Tenet Healthcare shares dropped 0.74 percent during the week of Sept. 7 to Sept. 11 and have dropped 10.2 percent in the last four weeks. The company has a market cap of $4.67 billion.

2. Hospital Corporation of America shares traded at $84.69 per share, down 0.84 percent during the week of Sept. 7 to Sept. 11.

3. AmSurg shares traded up 2.58 percent during the week of Sept. 7 to Sept. 11. The shares dropped 5.32 percent in the last four weeks, according to Insider Trading Report.

4. Surgical Care Affiliates appointed Michael A. Sachs to its board of directors. Mr. Sachs previously served as chairman and CEO of Sg2, a healthcare analytics and consulting firm recently sold to MedAssets.
