Statistics from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery show that older patients are increasingly opting for cosmetic surgery. Physicians believe the change may be linked to changing perceptions of how seniors want to spend the last portion of their lives.
Other physicians say older Americans want the surgeries because they are staying in the workforce longer and must compete with more youthful coworkers.
