1. The Fairfield City school district in Butler County, Ohio claims to be the first suburban school district in the nation to offer comprehensive services.

2. The Fairfield center has three medical exam rooms, three dental chairs and two vision stations that can test for glaucoma and the accuracy of eyeglass prescriptions.

3. The center is funded by Interact for Health, an independent nonprofit serving 20 counties in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. The organization also contributes to school-based clinics in Cincinnati along with The Greater Cincinnati Foundation and Mercy Health.

4. Colleen O’Toole, PhD, chief administrative officer for The Health Collaborative, believes these partnerships will be beneficial to the community.
