SCA receives 'hold' rating, HCA stock down 0.44% & more — 5 key notes on ASC companies

Here are five updates on ASC companies:

1. Surgical Care Affiliates received an average rating of "hold" from eight ratings firms last week. Six analysts gave the stock a "hold rating" with two giving SCA a "buy" recommendation.

2. Zacks lowered AmSurg stock from a "buy" to "hold" rating last week. AmSurg has a 52-week low of $45.19 and a 52-week high of $72.85.

3. Hospital Corporation of America stock traded at $92.83, down 0.44 percent, for the week of July 20 to July 24.

4. Tenet Healthcare shares increased by 17.4 percent or by 1.2 million shares. The company has a market cap of $5.59 billion, according to the Insider Trading Report.

5. AmSurg employees collected food for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee in Nashville. Employees collected 2,522 pounds of food during June and July.
