Porterville ASC featured in article on low healthcare costs

Porterville, Calif.-based Natraj Surgery Center has been profiled in an article in the Record Online on hernia surgery and healthcare costs.

The article focuses on the journey of a patient to find high-quality, low-cost care for a hernia repair. According to the article, the procedure cost less than one-fifth of what it would have cost at a local hospital.

The procedure was performed by Gaurang Pandya, MD, a general surgeon at the ASC.
