ASCs have changed their masking and visitor policies based on COVID-19 levels in their communities, and now the CDC has made a major update to its COVID-19 guidelines. 

Cities in Hawaii and California topped the list of those with the lowest depression rate in the country, according to a February report from WalletHub.

Nearly half of U.S. physicians (49%) remain burnt out in 2024, citing their personal lives, professional lives or both according to a Medscape's "Physician Burnout & Depression Report 2024."

Springfield Township, Pa.-based Crozer Health has nixed plans to reopen its shuttered Springfield campus's emergency department and medical center as an orthopedic ASC, according to a March 5 report from the Philadelphia Business Journal.
