A bill that would have allowed ambulatory surgery centers to keep patients up to three days after their operations has failed to pass the Florida House, according to a report from the Tampa Bay Times.

According to the 2014 HealthCare Appraisers ASC Valuation Survey, the typical management fee ranges from 3 percent to 7 percent of the ambulatory surgery center's net revenue.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services no longer requires ambulatory surgery centers to have a radiologist on their medical staff, according to an ASCA news release.
