Twenty-six students from area high schools were awarded scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 to use at the college of their choice.
“Providing resources to assist Central Oregon students in getting the necessary education to have a career in healthcare is an honor,” said Neal Maerki, administrator of Bend Surgery Center. “Being able to contribute to the future of our local healthcare community has been embraced by the local medical and greater Central Oregon community through donations at our annual fundraiser.”
