Three Gables Surgery, an outpatient surgical facility in Proctorville, Ohio, is ending operations later this year, according to an Aug. 10 report from WSAZ.
The center will start a phased closure and transition services to two hospitals that are part of Huntington, W.Va.-based Marshall Health Network.
The closure is due to declining surgical case volume and rising operational costs.
Physicians who currently perform procedures at Three Gables Surgery will hold privileges at one or both of the Marshall Health Network hospitals to which services are being transitioned, the report said.
