New York governor resumes nonemergency surgeries 

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul ended the mandate pausing nonemergency surgeries in the state, according to local NBC affiliate WGRZ.

The lift comes after the state has seen a drop in COVID-19 cases, and some Upstate New York hospitals say they are anticipating a rise in demand, according to WGRZ
