Merritt Healthcare opened its Western Connecticut Orthopedic Surgical Center in Danbury, Conn.

Michael A. Rucker, COO of Surgical Care Affiliates, sold 1,200 shares of SCA stock for a total transaction price of $33,636, according to a Sleek Money report.

As of Oct. 10, Medical Facilities Corporation stock traded at Can$16.43 per share, down .01 percent.

Hospital Corporation of America stock traded at $71.25 per share during the week of Sept. 29 to Oct. 3, up .07 percent.
