Nevada ASC completes 1st robotic-assisted procedure

Galena Surgical Center in Reno, Nev., has completed its first robotic-assisted surgery, KOLO reported Oct. 24.

The milestone procedure was completed with the Da Vinci 5 Surgical System to treat a hernia.

The ASC is the only outpatient center in the area equipped with the surgical system.
