Troy, Mo.-based Mercy has expanded its presence in Sikeston, Mo., with the opening of three specialty clinics inside SEMO Health Network’s Sikeston Medical Center, bringing its total number of clinics in the city to four, according to a June 9 Southeast Missourian report.
The new locations, Mercy Clinic Heart and Vascular-Sikeston, Mercy Clinic General Surgery-Sikeston and Mercy Clinic Gastroenterology-Sikeston, began seeing patients last month at the medical center.
Mercy Clinic Heart and Vascular-Sikeston is led by Chizor Iwuchukwu, MD, and Munis Raza, MD, who each will see patients in Sikeston once a month. The clinic offers preventive heart care, consultations, cardiac testing and treatment for conditions including coronary artery disease, heart rhythm disorders and congestive heart failure, according to the report.
Mercy Clinic General Surgery-Sikeston is led by Joseph McCadams, MD, who sees patients every Tuesday for surgical consultations, postoperative visits and follow-up care.
Mercy Clinic Gastroenterology-Sikeston operates every Wednesday and is staffed by a rotating team that includes Shane Hendon, DO; Brent Keller, DO; Cody Kern, MD; Kaitlin Roslen, NP; and Mimi Kingery, PA-C. The clinic diagnoses and treats digestive conditions such as Crohn’s disease, celiac disease, ulcers and irritable bowel syndrome.
