Meet the highest-paid healthcare CFO

John Rex, CEO of UnitedHealth, was named the 10th highest paid CFO in the U.S., according to a report from The CFO Club. As such, he is also the highest-paid CFO in healthcare.

Mr. Rex has served as the healthcare giant’s CFO since 2016, and became president of the group in April. 

His total annual compensation is $15.8 million. This figure is comprised of his base salary, at $1.2 million, $12.4 million in stock options and $2.2 million in bonus and non-equity incentive compensation.
