Kona Surgery Center Adds Two Procedures

Kona Surgery Center in Hawaii announced the addition of two new procedures: transanal hemorrhoid dearterialization and canaloplasty, according to a West Hawaii Today report.

Transanal hemorrhoid dearterialization is a minimally invasive procedure using ultrasound guidance to “tie off the arteries feeding hemorrhoid tissues,” according to the report. Canaloplasty is also a minimally invasive procedure designed to treat patients with uncontrolled glaucoma.
