Jones Eye Clinic Participates in FDA Trial for Cataract Surgery

Jones Eye Clinic in Sioux City, Iowa, is participating in an FDA-sponsored clinical trial for a new cataract surgery procedure, according to a Sioux City Journal report.

The study compares a multi-focal interocular lens with traditional procedures. Jones Eye Clinic has participated in six FDA trials since 2011 involving microstenting devices to treat glaucoma symptoms or lens implants for cataracts.
