The Iowa Clinic has relocated its plastic surgery and oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery departments to a new facility in West Des Moines, Iowa, Midwest Medical Edition reported Sept. 18.
The West Des Moines, Iowa-based health system began seeing patients at the new location on Sept. 14. The move follows sustained growth in both specialties.
The Iowa Clinic launched its oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery service line in July with the additions of Dr. Audrey Ko and Dr. Douglas Casady, expanding access to specialized care for the eyelids, tear ducts, eye socket and surrounding facial structures.
The new site was designed around the needs of plastic and oculofacial surgery patients, featuring a more private setting, convenient parking and space intended to support closer collaboration among providers.
The Iowa Clinic plans a public open house at the new location in winter 2026.
The Iowa Clinic operates multiple specialty and surgical locations across the Des Moines metro area, and the relocation reflects the organization’s continued investment in expanding specialized surgical access in central Iowa.
