Healthcare Informatics Top 100 ranks Netsmart as top HIT company: 6 things to know

Healthcare Informatics magazine named Netsmart, an Overland Park, Kan., post-acute EHR provider, to its Healthcare Informatics Top 100 listing of HIT companies.

Here are six things to know:

1. The list ranks 100 vendors with the highest revenues from healthcare IT products and services from the previous year.

2. In 2014, Netsmart brought on 100 new client organizations serving 6 million people.

3. The company completed 681 implementation projects and supported more than 450 user group meetings.

4. There are now more than 3,500 members in the Netsmart Community collaboration portal.

5. To support the growing company, Netsmart added 264 new associates.

6. Netsmart provides coordinated, integrated, outcomes-based services and care to healthcare services.
