Dr. Larry Squire joins public health board — 3 things to know

After being in private practice for 28 years, dentist Larry Squire, MD, is now a member of the Scott County Board of Health in Davenport, Iowa, according to the Quad-City Times.

Here are three things to know:

1. Dr. Squire is replacing Jim Lyles, MD, a hand surgeon at ORA Orthopedics.

2. His interests lie in dental initiatives, such as the I-SMILE programs for children and senior citizens and fluoridation programs.

3. Although semi-retired, Dr. Squire still works at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.
