In the article, Dr. Moor was singled out as being one of approximately two dozen U.S. surgeons who perform SuperPath hip replacements, a technique in which the surgical team assembles the artificial hip inside the body and does not dislocate the hip joint. The method was noted as potentially allowing for a faster recovery than traditional surgery, though it has not yet been independently evaluated, according to the report.
