Gurnee Police and Fire Department personnel responded to reports of a crash around 9:15 a.m. on Sept. 12, according to the report.
The woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and was transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Ill.
A contractor working on the medical building renovation was inside when the collision occurred and was uninjured.
Firefighters have been assessing the structure to ensure its stability.
