ASC procedures up 11% over 11 years

The average number of procedures performed in an ASC per year has jumped 11 percent since 2011, according to VMG Health’s “Multi-Specialty ASC Benchmarking Study” for 2022.

Here are five other stats to know about total cases performed per center:

  1. Mean total cases per ASC: 5,217
  2. Median number of cases: 4,504
  3. 25th percentile: 3,077
  4. 75th percentile: 6,566
  5. 90th percentile: 9,277
