Allegheny Health Network sees increase in ASC visits: 4 key points

Allegheny (Pa.) Health Network marked its sixth consecutive reporting period with a positive operating income amid an increase in ASC cases compared to last year, TribLive reported.

1. The health network opened an outpatient center in O’Hara, Pa. during the third quarter of 2018.

2. The network also saw an increase in total ASC, physician visits and observations during the first tine months of 2018 when compared with the previous year.

3. A health system spokesperson said AHN plans to continue investing in programs and infrastructure to increase access to care delivery.

4. Allegheny Health Network’s total operating income was $5.4 million for the third quarter of 2018.
