The young patient, who was identified as Caroline in a Facebook post, drove a pink VW Beetle toy car to the operating room. Doctors Medical Center introduced the car to help minimize pediatric patients’ preoperative stress.
“We can see the stress and anxiety melt away when they hop in the car,” Doctors Medical Center said in a Facebook post.
