According to a report from cloud software company approve.com, Texas is the cheapest state to run a business in as of Oct. 2021.

The report considered factors including average annual wages, tax rates and utility prices.

4. Nevada

5. Georgia

Five most expensive states for running a business: 

1. California 

2. New Jersey 

3. Vermont 

4. District of Columbia

5. Iowa
