Meridian Surgical Partners Opens New Louisiana Surgery Center in Zachary

Meridian Surgical Partners has announced it has opened Zachary (La.) Surgical Center, according to a news release from Meridian Surgical Partners.

Zachary Surgical Center is a multi-specialty outpatient surgical facility occupying 8,300 square feet within a medical office park. It contains two operating suites and one procedure room. Outpatient procedures in the following specialties are currently performed at the center: gastroenterology, general surgery, orthopedics, pain management, podiatry and spine.

 

“Meridian is proud to be part of Zachary Surgical Center,” said David F. “Buddy” Bacon Jr., CEO for Meridian Surgical Partners, in the release. “We believe the physicians’ dedication to this area and this facility will make this a successful partnership and one that creates value for the patients and community.”

 

Brian Kozar, MD, founding partner and orthopedic surgeon at Zachary Surgical Center, said, “Zachary Surgical Center is a great addition to the healthcare community in Zachary. We are excited to offer patients a safe, efficient, comfortable and cost-effective alternative for their outpatient surgical needs.”

 

The ASC is Meridian’s third de novo surgery center partnership since the company was founded in 2006.
