Here are two health systems laying off employees that Becker's has reported on since Sept. 21:
1. Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health implemented workforce reductions in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year ending June 30, resulting in about 2,000 job cuts.
2. Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica is laying off about 20 administrative workers, a health system spokesperson confirmed with Becker's.
