Here’s what you should know:
1. The practice, started by a group of interventional radiologists as part of Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg, opened the doors to its Fredericksburg location in January 2007.
2. Since then it has expanded to a second location in Stafford, Va.
3. VIVA is now a team of eight physicians, including two vascular surgeons.
4. VIVA is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg CEO Ed Swager said, “We’re celebrating this milestone as a way of honoring the dedication of those who have now provided service to more than 100,000 patients and continue to offer the only outpatient Interventional Radiology and Vascular Surgery practice in the Fredericksburg region.”
