Biggest Challenge for ASCs in 2013? The CPI-U, ASCA Members Say

ASCA recently asked its members to choose the biggest legislative and regulatory challenges for 2013, according to an ASCA report.

Eighty percent of participants identified the use of the CPI-U for CMS’ payment update factor as the top concern next year. They also listed site-neutral payments and consolidation in the healthcare and insurance industries as challenges for 2013.

Five out of six respondents said they contacted their Congressional representatives regarding ASCs in 2012.
