Greg Koonsman, CFA, is the founder and senior partner at VMG Health, a market valuation and transaction advisory firm based in Dallas. As senior partner, Mr. Koonsman specializes in valuation, transaction advisory, feasibility and operational consulting services. He has acted as an advisor in transactions for more than 250 hospitals, 1,000 surgery centers and 1,500 physician organizations.
Mr. Koonsman acted as founder and director of Practice Performance, a physician management organization providing outsourced business management services. Practice Performance was sold to MedSynergies in 2006.
Prior to co-founding VMG Health, Mr. Koonsman worked at Ernst & Young, where he specialized in healthcare valuation and transactions. He is a member of the Association of Investment Management and Research, American Society of Appraisers, Healthcare Financial Management Association and ASCA.
