ASC Industry Leader to Know: Patrick McCarthy With Access MediQuip

Patrick McCarthy is the chief network development officer at Access MediQuip, a company headquartered in Lake Mary, Fla., that offers the healthcare industry integrated, comprehensive surgical and implant management solutions.

Mr. McCarthy is responsible for the growth of the company’s payor-sponsored business for hospitals and surgery centers nationwide.

Prior to joining Access MediQuip, he served as the CEO of the Centennial, Colo.-based company Validiti, which helped the healthcare industry to improve operational and financial outcomes. He also served as the president of the Broadlane Group and held several positions with the GHX technology company. Mr. McCarthy has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare business development and consulting services.

Mr. McCarthy earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky in Lexington. He received his law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.

Mr. McCarthy will be speaking at the 11th Annual Orthopedic, Spine and Pain Management-Driven ASC Conference held from June 13 to 15.
