1. Mr. McDavitt first became a registered nurse in 1994 and has a background in the intensive care unit and emergency room. He also has experience as a hospital director of business development and outpatient surgery.
2. Prior to joining Avanza, Mr. McDavitt managed multiple de-novo centers, acquisitions, mergers, turnarounds and syndications of surgery centers on the local and national level. He has also worked with physicians to develop group practices into full-scale operations.
3. Mr. McDavitt established the first Tenet Healthcare and United Surgical Partners International joint venture and he managed the acquisition as well as the integration and operations of multiple centers. He also has experience launching anesthesia groups and in hospital turnarounds.
4. In addition to his work in the healthcare field, Mr. McDavitt has authored articles for trade publications and served as a guest moderator for state surgery center associations.
5. Avanza is focused on providing guidance and expertise for managing ASCs and physician collaborations.
