Here are six ambulatory surgery center industry leadership moves and honors.

Rodger Baca was named chief development officer of Physicians Endoscopy. Mr. Baca previously served as a vice president of acquisitions and development at Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America.

Dan L. Hunt, MD, the board president of Genesis Surgery Center in Lansing, Mich., was appointed the corporate medical director of Accident Fund Holdings, a worker’s compensation insurance company.

Amy Maddox, previously business office manager at Cherry Creek Surgery Center, recently became a business office operations manager with SurgCenter Development.

Ebenezer Nkong, RN, BSN, MSN, MBA, CNOR, became a nurse administrator with SurgCenter Development a little more than a year ago.

A little less than a year ago, Mindi Short became CEO/consultant of Medical Business Solutions, a physician, ASC and hospice billing, transcription and coding company. Prior to her current role, Ms. Short was the office manager of Coral Desert Surgery Center.
