Wanted: A Dynamic ASC Facility Administrator

We are looking for an Administrator for a high volume Ambulatory Surgery Center located in the Chicago area. The facility is a multispecialty facility performing an average of 450 procedures per month across the specialties of Orthopedics, Pain Management, Ophthalmology, ENT, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Cosmetic Surgery and Podiatry.
The Administrator is responsible for the daily operations of the ambulatory surgery center by planning and directing all functions and activities with clinical and business oversight. In conjunction with the Business Office Manager this person is responsible for achieving the objectives of the Center in the areas of regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, quality & performance improvement, materials management, financial reporting and human resources.

Qualifications:
∙ A minimum of 5 years experience as an operating room nurse preferred
∙ A minimum of 5 years of ASC management experience including financial responsibilities, personnel management, quality initiatives.
∙ A current license from the State and Current BCLS certification
∙ Ideal candidate has a Master's degree in business or healthcare.
∙ Function well under pressure, be organized, detail orientated and utilize critical thinking skills with management and problem solving.
∙ Positive interpersonal skills are a must for success
∙ Proficient in computer programs (i.e. Microsoft Office, electronic health record, management system, etc.) are highly valued.
∙ Knowledge of reimbursement issues such as coding and managed care contracting will be beneficial.
