Position Overview
Boulder Medical Center in Boulder, CO currently has a Full-time opening for a Director of Ambulatory Surgery. This position would be at our BMC-Broadway location. Applicants must have previous Day Surgery and Management experience.
Details of Position
Responsible for the daily (M-F) operation of day surgery unit to include participation in personnel selection, establishing and developing department goals and objectives, coordinating development of job protocols, conducting staff performance evaluations, formulating, updating and enforcing guidelines, policies and procedures pertinent to outpatient surgical setting administering and updating Infection Control and Quality Assurance Program.
Director will act as substitute for personnel who are absent from the department and must be cross-trained and familiar with the job functions of each person in the unit.
Prepares annual budget for department.
