WellCare of North Carolina entered into an agreement with Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health to provide its members access to the health system's provider network, The Mountaineer reports.

1. Mission Health has six hospitals and several surgery centers.
2. Mission Health also has the region's only Level II trauma center.
3. The payer primarily offers Medicaid and Medicare plans.
