Regent Surgical Health Opens New Alaska Surgery Center in Anchorage

Regent Surgical Health, a developer, manager and owner of ambulatory surgery centers and specialty hospitals, has announced the opening of a new ASC in Anchorage, Alaska.

The Surgery Center of Anchorage has two ORs, a dedicated GI suite and a pain suite, according to Regent. The ASC will initially provide services in GYN, general surgery, colorectal, ENT, pain and urology.

 

The surgery center opened and treated its first patient on Dec. 6. It is a partnership between Regent and 18 physician partners from Anchorage, with the physicians as the sole owners of the facility.
