Jim Quiggle, director of Communications for The Coalition Against Insurance Fraud, told NJ.com that although Medicare fraud is not limited to New Jersey, it has become a “hot-button” state for it, where the temptation for healthcare providers to cut corners is high to bill Medicare for a chair sold to a patient that may not need one.
