SCN launched in March 2013. During its first year, SCN partnered with large self-insured employers to connect ASCs to the general public, insurance plans and group health and workers’ compensation employers.

Now, SCN will seek to enter new markets and launch a direct-to-consumer marketing plan in the second quarter of 2014.

“Our first year of SCN’s operations was a tremendous success that exceeded even our expectations, and by continuing to evolve our model, we anticipate another strong year of growth ahead,” said Jeff Blankinship, President of SCN and Surgical Notes, according to the report.
