Hudson Holdco operates Christ Hospital in Jersey City, Bayonne (N.J.) Medical Center and Hoboken (N.J.) University Medical Center. The hospitals hope to realize reduced costs through better coordination of care to eliminate unnecessary spending and duplicate services, according to the report.

The bundled payments program will begin by the end of the year and specifically affect Medicare patients. The hospitals will combine the payment model with their existing readmission reduction program, according to the report.
