SCN highlights and connects ASCs to the general public, insurance plans and group health and workers’ compensation employers. Executives from 10 different TPAs are participating in the meeting July 23 to 25. The focus group is facilitated by McLellan Consulting Services President Glenn McLellan.

“SCN is bringing these TPA executives together to formulate a plan for SCN to roll out not only to their large, self-insured networks, but to the entire payer industry,” said SCN President Jeff Blankinship, who is also president and CEO of Surgical Notes, in the release. “The plan will focus on price transparency, consumerism, bundled payments, the referral process, pre- and post-surgical concierge services and the reporting of quality outcomes.”
