During the event, participants learned about best practices and recommendations for improving the billing and collections processes at ASCs as well as some of the most common billing and collections mistakes made by ASCs. Ms. Serbin led participants through two case studies that highlighted ASCs with problematic billing and collections processes, and she offered numerous recommendations and observations for improvement.

• payment posting;
• staffing; and
