SCAN Health Plan welcomes Dr. Dennis Tse as corporate medical director: 4 quick facts

SCAN Health Plan named Dennis Tse, MD, its corporate medical director for Southern California.

Here are four quick facts:

1. With more than two decades of managed care experience, Dr. Tse previously served as regional medical director for AltaMed Health Services in Los Angeles.

2. In his new position, Dr. Tse will work with the clinical leadership at SCAN-contracted medical groups.

3. After earning his medical degree from State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in New York City, Dr. Tse completed his internship and internal medicine residency at University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Tse then completed a nephrology fellowship at UCLA.

4. SCAN is a non-profit Medicare Advantage plan, serving about 170,000 members.
