Passed SGR legislation does not include ICD-10 delay caveat

The U.S. Senate has passed the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (HR 2), and unlike last year’s SGR patch there is no attached ICD-10 delay, according to an EHR Intelligence report.

With the legislation passed in both the House and Senate and on its way to be signed by President Barack Obama, another delay of the new coding set’s implementation data is unlikely.
